Today we enter the house of the Lord with hearts of openness and expectation for what God wants to say to us. As a child, I remember going to my father for help with understanding my homework. He would always take my textbook and say, “Let’s go back to the beginning to understand how to work out your homework problems.” I did not understand that learning is building from the beginning.
We can apply the principle of building from the beginning by realizing Jesus Christ is our cornerstone. Today we will take a look at the beginning in Genesis. The foundations of the world and universe started in Genesis, and its study helps us to understand the life problems we have today.
Please welcome our TCS teachers and staff today as well as other guests. It is good to be in the house of the Lord.
