Welcome to Temple Baptist Church. We are happy you are worshiping with us today!
Today we will delight in seeing children who are members of our school and attend our church being baptized. The Bible teaches that we all must come to salvation like children, in faith, believing. Baptism does not save us. Our salvation comes by way of Jesus Christ and Him alone. Baptism pictures the death of our old life and the resurrection of a new life to be lived for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Today is also the day of dedication of baby Emily Shiflett to the Lord. It is a joy to have Ed and Lynn Shiflett with their three children, Jr., Ethan and Emily, in our service today. Several months ago, the Shifflett’s moved to North Florida. We miss them and are glad they have come for this special occasion.
