Three Baptisms, Three Salvations
Thank you for praying for our baptismal service which took place at the end of June. We prayed and rejoiced over the three candidates who followed the Lord in believer’s baptism! It was a wonderful to hear their testimonies of God’s work in their lives.
Just when we thought the weekend couldn’t get any better, the following day another lady proclaimed her faith in Christ! We were so awed and elated to hear Priscilla say “Jesus saved me! Yes, Jesus is my Savior!” Not long after that, another couple in our church announced the salvation of a Muslim teen that they’ve worked with! They could see the joy of salvation in her!
Just last week this same couple was able to talk to another man they had befriended. Philipe told them he had a hard time forgiving his now-adult children. Our friends explained to him the importance of accepting God’s forgiveness for our sins so that we can then extend forgiveness to others. God had already prepared Philipe’s heart and he asked God to forgive him and save him from his sins! Hallelujah!!
Please continue to pray for Priscilla, Philipe, and the formerly Muslim teenager. Pray that they would be able to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and that He would protect them from Satan’s attacks (which have already begun).
