Church-planting Missionaries to Japan

February 2023

Thank you for continuing to pray with us about a new location for our church plant. We had prayed specifically for a new location is 1) on the first floor, 2) over 80 (preferable 100) square meters (1100 sq ft), 3) close to our current location, 4) not too expensive, and 5) has parking for 15 cars. Well, we recently found a warehouse that is a 5-minute walk away from our current location. The monthly rent is less than two hundred dollars more than we are currently paying and the area inside is 108 square meters. There are three parking spaces directly in front of the warehouse and the streets nearby are not a no-parking zone.

On Monday we were able to take a look inside, and it is really promising. We believe this is a big answer to prayer. Please continue to pray with us as we figure out renovations and enter a new phase of the church plant.

Shining names just might lose their sparkle. See the news section.

If you've even had the privilege of naming a child, you know that there is a lot to think about. In Japan, not only do you decide what the name sounds like, but also what Kanji characters to use. However, some people decide to break the rules about how the characters are supposed to be read. But times might be changing soon.
