Today’s missionary is Ben Bounds who has been in mission work for many years with his wife, Linda. Missionary Bounds serves under Faith International Partners (FIP) located in Tennessee and serves God by helping to reach people who live in the 10/40 Zone of the world. There are four billion people there, most of whom are Buddhist, Communist, Hindu or Islamic. Ninety-five percent are unevangelized due to the vast majority forbidding western Christian missionaries to do long-term work.
It is the purpose of the FIP Mission Board to preach the Gospel, plant churches, and disciple people in the knowledge of our Great God. The Bible says in Mark 16:15 we are to “…preach the Gospel to every creature.” Since the door is closed to western missionaries, FIP is about raising support for the indigenous men of God. FIP has a strong method of accountability by sending FIP staff and pastors to visit the new churches and bring back a report to the Board.
